Well today i got a set of basicly brand new FM 40's ... i said basicly because, at work we did dual exhaust on a truck, he didnt like the way they sounded after the test drive so he took them off, maybe less than 5 miles on them, so these muffs were layen on the shelf, and i asked how much they wanted for them, work said i could just have them ... so SORE free muffs, i asked one of the techs, an older gentleman that has done more exhaust than any of us on this bord combined, to weld them up for me, he said under 1 condition... i asked what ... he said i had to buy him DQ for doing is ... so deal ... long story short i got a set of new flowmaster muffs for the cost of a dilly bar lol

Man that is cool. Are you just doing just muffs or are you going catback?

FM 40's are awesome. Just make sure you turn up your speakers to combat the drooooooooooone.

Add a dynomax race bullet to get rid of the drooooooooooooone. You will lose no flow and very little sound. http://www.summitracing.com/search/brand...s/?autoview=SKU

Yes. They are straight thru flowing and will get rid of the drone as well as that NASTY rasp when you accelerate. I put the 12" on both my W-Body cars and it did wonders.
Read this post to see the sound and dyno numbers for this so called muffler. It shows it flows incredibly and kills little volume. It used to be called the Race Magnum.
