I havent done too much WOT in the last month, So I decided to make some quick 20-60 runs with my KR annunciator set at .001 so It will flash at anything above .001

When a local tuner named Chris Kemp tuned my car he had to pull .5* of timing to keep no KR. But now I am seeing KR jump around all the way up to 3.7*

The only things Ive done since then is EGR delete, heat sheild for air filter, and replace the transmission mount...

I had terrrrible exhaust leaks back when he tuned it, Im sure that would throw some things off.

He just moved to join the airforce, So Im kinda SOL with getting him to take a look.

Could this be false?

Could be false. Did you do a SOLID tranny mount?

what was the weather like when it was tuned compared to now? If it was cooler or wetter when you tuned it, that is probably why moreso than the mods.

No, it's not false. False KR almost never happens.

Sell the Aeroforce and buy a tuner instead.

It was much warmer when the car was tuned compared to when I drove last night.

So I went out again and saw blips up to 3* just like last night, I took the lid off the heat sheild just to be sure.

My LTFT's were sitting at -9.3 during WOT.

o2's were in the 890's during WOT.

KR peaking at 5* in high second gear.

I need some race gas laugh

Put in a DP without flipping the swaybar. You'll get false KR. The cheap knock sensors GM used will pick up any heavy metal on metal contact.

Barometric pressures could've been much different. Who knows.

You're running lean in PE, hence KR.

I'm well aware of what it is, and what causes it, but it is very rare, unless he just installed the headers and didn't flip it (which isn't the case).

Ordonez is correct, I happened to flip the sway bar. But What I dont get is WHY I had no KR previously, And now Im getting up to 5* in high second gear.

Anything "tunable" for the PE mode? I can watch PE on my aeroforce, Anything out of the blue I should be looking for?

Unless the transmission mount is loose or something, which theres no way it is. Then I might be SOL as far as local tuners go.

It's the temperature difference. Plus you probably didn't have the tune bang-on to begin with, it takes a lot of time to get things perfect.

Nothing you can do with your aeroforce except back off the throttle when you see KR occuring.

These are some of those crazy issues that make me so reluctant to top swap my ride. It seeems like you had better factor the cost of a tuner in with your swap budget and get some education on how to use it (me I mean)...plus finding a local competent tuning mechanic is a real plus.

I'd like the car to be as reliable as it is now...doesnt seem possible with so many board members having these kind of issues.

I totally understand where youre coming from. But actually this is completely my fault, I was the one that went to the tune with terrible exhaust leaks when I shouldnt of. My car is very reliable, Its just not at WOT. lol
