Hello,
I have a 2000 GTP.
I recently met w/ a local club member here in Oregon who has a 1998 GTP.
They have a heat shield to protect both fans from the exhaust. I only have one on the right side(passenger side). Here is the URL to my setup.

Does anyone with a 2000, or newer GTP have a heat shield on both fans? Or just the right side? Please respond.

I just looked at mine and my wife's 2000 GTP's.
Neither of our GTP's have a drivers side fan heat shield.
I checked my 2000 Potiac books and they show it not to have a drivers side fan shield ever installed from the factory.....

Dealer said there was not supposed to be a shield there, but, that's the dealer. I wanted to make sure. Looks like they were right in this case.
