If you're PCV is getting THAT clogged that it's actually causing an oil leak, then either you have a blowby problem with the engine, or the valve isn't getting changed often enough. It's a simple $5 part, and should be changed as maintenance, like you would a tune up or transmission fluid. I believe on a 2000, it's located on the upper intake plenum, inside a black plastic cartrige type of thing, which you rotate partially and then remove. I could be wrong; the 3.8 PCV valve designs and locations have slightly changed over the years.
