I have 3 light bulbs burned out behind the trip computer on my 1999 GP GT. I went to the local Pontiac dealer and they said they don't carry the bulbs, they send the entire units out to get fixed. The parts guy gave me the number of where they send it to, I called and they said they don't sell the parts and it would be $120 for an exchange of the unit! WHAT A JOKE! Just for 3 stupid little bulbs.
So does anybody know where these elusive bulbs can be had??

NAPA auto parts has saved my keister many of times.

The problem is, it's in it's own special little housing, I don't think an auto parts store would have them, Pep Boys didn't.

if you have pulled these bulbs out the housing already then they should have a part # with a manufacturer name.

try to find a NAPA near an area that services semi trucks or tour buses. these type of vehicles hav bulbs in their housing that always burn out and they are replaceable, its a pain in the ass to replace but it is done. hope that gives you more ammunition

Which ones are burnt out? The ones that have the flat grey base, or the blue base ones.The greys have a tiny bulb, and the others have a larger bulb. I have 4 of each, let me know what you need, and I can send you some. These look the same as the other non-serviceable lights that GM insist on using. e-mail your address to me. porkchop,tell me where you found those bulbs or do you have a part # and maker. t/u but its hard wen your dash bulbs are burned out

Thanks Porkchop, I don't have one out right now but I believe they are the gray based ones, I will have to pull out again and double check. I could use three of them. There is no part number at all on these.

The blue base says WAGNER 131, the grey based don't say anything. I had a busted DIC and have a couple of extra bulbs. Up above my reply there is an e-mail icon. e-mail me your home address and i'll mail you the ones you need. Check and see if its the blue or grey. P'CHOP

Found a # for the blue base bulb PC119, if you have a reddish-brown base its PC118. No #'s on the tiny grey base. P'CHOP
