Hi,

I just bougt a 98 Grand Prix SE with the 3.1L engine in it. I couldn't find one in the price range I was looking to spend with a 3.8L in it.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any modifications that can be done to the 3.1L so that I can boost a little more hp out of the car than the stock 160hp.

If you go to mantapart.com they have a few things that you can get. There is also another place (I can't remember the name) that offers headers for the 3.4 in the Grand Am that would probably fit on the 3.1 but I'm not sure in the Grand Prix's engine compartment. Crane has roller rocker arms that you can get but they are pricey so you might just go to gmgoodwrench.com and look for GM performance parts. On the performance parts website, they have a listing for 60 degree V6 and there are a few things there for it. I think there's also a place called RSM Racing or something like that as well. I'm sure I can think of more. I'll let you know.
