wazzup!

just wondering, a guy I met has an xtra pcm for an 02 3800 ser. 3, will it work for 00 ser.2?

Hello,

The series 3 didn't come out until 2004.

There are differences between the '02's and the '00's....One being, the '02 doesn't have a performance shift button. I'm sure there are other parameters that I can't fathom, but the one I know of would keep me from trying it.

Oh, and the '02's don't have digital climate control.

I wouldnt do it, get an aftermarket pcm for your specific car if you dont want your stock one, the PCM would need to be reprogrammed regardless for your car and that would be about 100 bucks.
