I was on my way to do a little christmas shopping, this scion pulls up at the light wanting to challenge. He had it hooked up on the outside but the inside was another question.
I smoked him on take off. I thought those cars had some giddy up... He got smaller in the mirror.

Scion = practical economy car, all that stuff you see on their commercials that makes them seem fast is just hype, I always get a little irritated when I see that ad that has the scion tc running from video game spaceships or some sh*t like that and some techno song they mixed 5min before the commercial is playing in the back the TC is pretty fast tho it has 160hp and is pretty light I believe.

If you have 12-15k to spend on a new car scion would be the car to get but if your looking for speed look somewhere else.

SCION TC (Toyota Celica) and the Hyundai Tiburon SLLLOOOWWWWWW - What jokes they are...

Scion: 160hp(what I have seen it rated) @ 2900lbs
Tiburon: 172hp @ just over 3000lbs

Scion: 0-60 in 7.5 and 1/4 mile in 16ish
Tiburon: 0-60 in 8.5 and 1/4 mile in 16ish

Not too respectable for itty bitty "sports" cars if you ask me.

Now the Cobalt SS with 205hp/200lb-ft and just under 3000lbs is gonna be pretty quick.

I'm surprised that you even were able to get a good launch...if I had gotten such a challenge I would have been laughing to hard for a good holeshot...of course after he got a little head start and his confidence was building, then when I blew by him I would still be able to see the size of his eyeballs and agape jaw in the mirror (well for a second or so until it faded to oblivion)...the aftershock you just felt is the wake of the ThunderBat! laugh hammer hammer hammer

I actually thought it was more like the old AMC Pacer I owned years ago...it was a lot like a bathtub...you didnt mind sitting in it, you just didnt want anyone to see you while you were there.

My neighbor has one of those boxes "SUV" ones. I can taste a little puke in my mouth everytime I drive by.

Look Sweat and OK.

As for the TC there is one in our town that supposedly had a Vortech SC on it. HAHAHAH if it did the good ole bone stock GP GT spanked him to 90. And thats a FAT car with a good amount of extra weight!!!!!!!! And they said Fat chicks cant be quick.
