I know this subject has been brought before, but I just wanted to let people know what I found on my car today. When I was installing my new clear corner lenses I noticed that on the back of the headlight assembly, in the middle, is a "j" hook molded into the bracket. Now my headlight has bounced since I bought my car, and today I noticed that the "j" hook is broken off on the passenger side of my car. So, I'm pretty sure this is causing my headlight to bounce.

Has anyone else noticed this on there cars?

That would interfere. Also, did you notice anything else loose?

The hook slides into the frame behind the headlight and holds it in place. With it broke, the headlight won't be as secure and bounces.

hey I just changed my headlights and I have spare frames if you are interested..
