I believe there are a handful over on clubgp who have HID lights. Not sure about the process.

Here's a kit for HIDs. Don't know anything about it though. Has a gallery available also. Almost seem "too good to be true" to me.

Just found this out that as of 2002:

"XENON H.I.D. lighting systems that are supplied with the vehicles from the factory are DOT / E approved. The same OEM manufacturers that supply all the major car companies of the world also make our kits. NO XENON H.I.D. lighting system available from any source is DOT / E approved if installed outside of the factory. These kits are not street legal for use on public roads as they are."

They can only be used for off-road use.
I just use SilverStars.

I keep getting picked on for stupid stuff that's illegal. For instance, I got a written warning for no front plate, the officer mentioned that my rear license plate cover is illegal as well as my headlight covers. I ordered clear corners just the other day in hopes that I won't be picked on for those too. Seems like everything that looks sweet on your car, is illegal, how crappy is that?!

why spend so much on just increasing light value??? Just by silverstars and spend a fraction of the price. 300 is overpriced.

Nad, agreed, cops lookin for ways to complete their daily quota of pulling over drivers for retarded reasons. Cops are getting way to greedy with those kind of tickets.
