I was wanting to upgrade my shift points to the recomended 6750rpm( with my stage 3 blower cam), but I have a stock trans, so should I go that high or should I keep it alittle lower.

With that particular cam I would shift around6600 since your peaking at 6400 ,what cyl.heads are you going to use ? and what stall convertor do you plan on using ?

just to get this out of the way... your tranny is going to break soon (if you dont baby it).

I'm sure someone will correct me if im wrong but the only thing you really have to worry about when raising your shift points are your valves, retainers, and springs. The biggest problem you run into with higher shift points is valve float, but it looks like your heads should be able to hold up to the abuse.

Also, as chico said, I brobably wouldnt raise it higher than 6600.

I dunno man, with that much mods, your kind of just waiting for it to explode. The torque converter (stock) is only rated for like 285hp, which I think you are coming close too by now, and that is the max rating. plus depending on how many miles are on it, your clutch packs are probably starting to go as well, and if you want them to last with that kind of power you need to put reinforced ones in. but yeah, thats just my opinion... and personally I would trust the guys at zzp a little bit more than the guys at intense with my tranny. I have heard some bad things about intense trannys
