PLEASE HELP! Abount 2 months ago I had a leak around my temperature sensor so i replaced it and refilled my antifreeze with the dex cool. Now while driving today my low coolant light came on for about 1 minute then went off and about 3 minutes later it went on again and then off. When checking my coolant level there was not much in the radiator and the resevoir was completetely empty? Any suggestion what might be going on? I have a 2001 grand prix se with a 3.8liter v6. Car only has 48,000 miles on it? Also doesn't look like anything is visibly leaking?

Check your oil. See if it is the proper consistency or if it looks wierd or watered down. If so, that is bad news. Correct me if I am wrong everyone. smile I had this happen with my Grand National.

Usually if you have water or coolant in your oil, it'll look milky and/or foam. Probably intake gaskets in that case. I'd also check for general leaks in the radiator hoses/lines and see if you radiator cap is sealing correctly.

sometimes a pressure leak in the radiator will lose plenty of coolant but not leave a puddle on the ground until it gets much worse...but do check the oil right away...our engines do have a spotted history of intake manifold leaks.
