Just lately been having a problem where I put the key in, turn key to start position, but nothing happens. And I mean nothing, no clicking, whirring (except for the fuel pump in ACC), anything. Also today I noticed that if I continue to hold the key in the start position for about 4-5 seconds, it starts right up. What could be the possible causes for this, and how big of a problem might this be? My obvious first possibility assumptions include starter, ignition, or battery... But what do I know? I'm pretty clueless...

This doesn't happen every time, just occasionally... confused

Help me out guys!

Check to make sure your battery cable connections are clean and tight. If they are, it's possible the ignition switch wire harness in the steering column could be the problem. Good Luck!

Check all the BATT connections and conncetions on the starter, sounds like a bad connection, also get your BATT tested, could be a dead cell or something like that
