So I was outside at 8:30 this morning giving a go at the code. PITA with my big hands to keep fooling around behind that engine. However, I got the new sensor at Advance ($10 cheaper than the Autozone locally) and therefore I bought $11 socket! Well I put in the new one. I d/c the battery for like 5 mins. Reconnected the bat and started it up. SES light still on. Will it take awhile or do I need to OBDII it again?

Disconnect the battery for 30min, or you can just drive around for awhile. I believe it's 2 trips with several minutes between trips. Something like 10 miles to go out to eat, eat, then back home. Should turn off after that, if it's fixed.

So after another bat d/c (34 min) and a run to see the 500, on the way back home the SES light finally went out! WOOOHOOOO!
