I had my right front replaced and it only lasted 15k and is making lots of noise already. Have any of you had good luck with a particular source? Hopefully cheaper than a dealer.

Timken's have been highly touted as really good bearings and can be found at Autozone.

I've typically gotten BCA's from O'Reilly's as the also have a 1yr warranty and are much cheaper.

My timkens are holding up well. Not cheap, but I think they were worth it.

What are some prices, do you ever get any online such as ebay? Can you tell looking at the part if it is Timken, etc.

I spoke with a friend who works at a NAPA store, and he says they carry two lines of Timken bearings; the one in the Timken box goes for $220, and they offer a lower priced ($180) Timken in a NAPA box.

Believe it or not my car has no ABS, its $40 less for a bearing without ABS at Napa, but thats the only place i have seen them offer one without ABS.
