what unit at 101? I was in C 8BN AVN several years back. what MOS?

13 sec? You might wanna talk to Chico, 2fast4u, AustinGTP, or Rook. There are a few others that are quite quick, but I cant remember who they are.

As for the GT... turbo will get you into the 13's easy.

As for the GTP... for a solid mid to low 13, you're looking at headers, cam/rockers, 3.25ish pulley, and all the other supporting mods.

If you're only looking for a 13.9 in the GTP, get a downpipe, intake, colder plugs, PCM, and a 3.4" pulley and assuming the track is prepped well you're there.

Gtp can get into the 13's with about 500-600 bucks...

The GT Turbo'ed and intercooled can be a easy 13 second car with just the kit. ZZPerformance.com is going to be your best friend with everything you need for either car. They have the fasted GP in the world on the stock bottom end. The turbo kit with intercooler will set you back about 4 grand.

If I had removed my drivers headlight, removed excess weight (spare, jack, and everything else in my trunk) and if there wasn't a 15mph head wind, and if track prep wasn't as horrible as it was, I think I could have gotten into the 13.9 mark.
I was actually glad I stayed in the 14's. I decided that's where I want to be because anything in the 13's required a helmet, and I didn't have one.

The only mod that's not listed in my sig is a 180* T-stat, undrilled.

I'm running an undrilled 180 as well. I like my car to get warm fast when it's 9 degrees outside.

94R2P2B (tryin to be 51C). In order: Lifeblood Of The Apache, Second To None, NSDQ, Knights, G-Force, and then where Im at now, which has no motto.

Dont forget the tranny work that you'll need to do. These trannies and diffs dont like much more than stock power, and (from what the guys here were sayin) will let you know.

You're gonna want some suspension work done, too to handle that much power pushin that heavy of a sled around. These cars weigh 3500-ish pounds. Without good suspension, brakes, and tires, you just will not be able to handle your GPs.

Good luck, Air Assault. Let us know how you're doin and how the cars/parts are goin.

Is this your first deployment? What rank are you? I don't know your financial situation, but most dudes blow all their deployment money on booze and girls and cars when they get back. I would reccomend that you pay off all bills (if you have any) and set aside some money for the future. Make sure you are financially secure and then spend whatever is left over on your cars. No bills means mo money to spend on mods and still be able to take a girl on a date in your fast car.

You said 9gs on each car? $18,000 on two cars would be friggin sweet, but depending on your pay grade when that money is gone, its gone. Living pay period to pay period will not be so sweet, especially when you got no money for premium fuel or food.

Gotta love NCOs, Duty First, 1 ID.

By the way I think we worked with your unit in OIF I and OIF III. Some INF elemant helped us out in Tal Afar last time, good bunch of guys.

Jeebus... nine grand on each car? For that you should easily be in the 11's
