this should be the final update on the pile, still misfiring in multiple cyllinders and we dont think the motor mount is bad after all. well got the ignition module checked at autozone, its fine, plugs are fine, vaccuum is fixed, plug wires are fine, coils are new and replaced, all connections good, battery is tight, gonna take the car to my friends mechanic to let them check it out. I suppose it may have one or more bad pushrods or somthing more serious will let you guys know though.

The LIM was replaced about 3 months ago, that is fine. As for the compression check still havent done that yet. But I like your ideas on the inner engine ill try them. ill have to get my buddy to come back out here. But I do have to say there is no loss of power and thats the odd part. Plus there is no evident misfire from an eveident source its giving bad random misfires. If I had bad rings wouldnt I be burning oil, losing power?

There's a bunch on the lower part of the motor, near the starter where the engine/tranny bolt together.
Another is under the coil pack support. A small black wire held on by a bolt (maybe behind one of the pulleys).
Of course, lastly your ground next to the battery on the fender.

well today I noticed that there is a small ammount of gas in my oil leading to the observation that my rings are prolly gettin shot out. All I can do now is do oil changes. I did the last oil change about 3 months ago or about 1000 miles. Theres not a lot of gas in the oil but some. Well thats sorta the beginning of the death of 281K lol. Yeah what you expect though right. oh well when I get my new gtp in a few months this will prolly be my rebuilder to port out everything on and make it into a beast. Im still gonna do the compression check tomarrow or the next day though

Rather than accusing your rings, I'd look at the fact that your running rich and something is causing it. Also, short trips will result in gas in the oil.

well now that you mention that, what would make it run rich, bad feul injector Os I know, but what else. Yeah I have been shutting it off and starting it up a lot to diagnose the problems with the misfires, and revving it up a lot to check the motor mounts. those could be doin it as well huh?

Yes... and you run richer during initial startup as well. Other than bad injectors, could be FPR or O2 sensor for starts.

Fuel Pressure Regulator and associated vacuum lines running to it.

Yeah that would have been the vaccuum lines not being connected for the last month of driving it. lol yeah well I guess maybe its not as bad as I thought, but so far im still gettin the dumb check engine light saying the same crap random multiple cyllinder misfires very odd. Fuel regulator though, could ya clue me in on where that is at, I can get out the book if your not sure?
