How do I fix it? Isn't there some kind of drain the blower intake shoudl have so water doesn't come into the motor?

As long as the motor is off little to no water will get in.

But anytime the motor is on, even on 1, water just seeps in.

Last time it rained I accidentally left the fan on 1, the next day. it was like a freakin pool...

Back seat floor gets wet too, anybody have any ideas?

Tonight, I bought some new bolts, washers, and lock washers for the front header and crossover. Made a solid bead of copper RTV on the mating surface, squished it together, put the new bolts in. Looks like it's going to seal great...

Tomorrow I have to go finish an exam for school (20 min drive for 2mins of work, then 20 min back frown ) but after that I want to try and fix the Y-collector too.

AAP has some nifty exhaust repair things.

It's a 14"x14" sheet of sheet metal, some heat-activated tape, and 2 large hose clamps. Cut it to size, apply the tape, clamp it, and with the help of some RTV, I should solve my leak issue...

Oh, and obviously, I have the car back from the shop. APPARENTLY, the "clunk" I hear up front during accelration and turning isn't serious enough for my mechanics to be able to find. So I'm supposed to just drive until it gets bad enough that they can figure out WTF it is...

Here's one fix: Cowl Vent Leaking There should be a drain on the firewall as well; make sure it's clear.
As for your clunk noise, my guess is either bad bushings in the lower control arms, or possibly something's loose in the rack and pinion.

x3, especially since you're hearing it on acceleration, when the motor will have a backwards force on it. Bad mount = motor falls back. Clunk!

If it were a motor mount though, wouldn't I hear it during a shift too?

I'm thinking about getting some polys anyway but I'm not sure that's the real issue.
