Hey all
I had a bad weekend I had a rump...rump...rump... sound with each rev of the LF wheel. It souds like an out of balance tire but I rotated them and it sounded the same so I thought the hub bearing was bad since I did the other side a few months back. I replaced the hub and the sound is still there confused I do hear it more when I apply the brakes witch made me think it was a worped roter but I switched them around left to right and it didn't change. I did do the tie-rod ends and ball joints this summer and they still look good. The only thing I can think of now is the CV shaft or the bearing in the trans but the shaft looks good and the boots are good. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help

Just that you must be right. Thats the only part left that rotates. Are you sure its on that side? Sometimes things are decieving, or maybe the back one?

Take the wheel off, put one or two lug nuts on to hold the rotor firm against the hub.... turn it with your hands and see where the noise is coming from. It could be breaks or CV shaft at this point.
