Scratch this, I just bought a used JMB intake in gloss black off clubgp.

Well, local club had a mini meet the other day. I saw a need JMB intake on an 05 monte carlo, and it sounded sick!
But I can't see spending over $200.
I have a good 5' piece of 3" thick walled pvc I have from my newest intake. I've seen a machine that you can pop the pvc in and it heats it up so it becomes flexable. Well I don't have that and wondering if the oven or something else would work. How hot should I put the over on for and is this worth tryig in the oven? Plus the oven can only hold such a long piece of pcv. I basically am going to try and fab my own jmb intake tube design.

So I received a $40 gift card to Pep boys. I figured go with something other than KN this time for the heck of it, plus pep boys had crap for kn in stock. I went with this ricer filter, I love the red and it actually looks damn good.
And it was $39.99.

Digitallyphoenix on here gave me that elbow, it is I think the PFYC elbow with IAT grommet istalled. If I make my instake, I may be getting rid of that elbow, but may need to keep the grommet. I'll let you know.

I used the rubber street coupler and drilled a hole into the rubber. Push sensor in all good.

yes i think that was the elbow from pfyc... but in reality it is just a piece of pvc from lowes or homedepot. then they drill a hole and get a rubber plug that they can squeeze in for the IAT.

steve i say it might not be the prettyest thing, but we should wrap your MAF, and intake tube with that reflex when done... those headers normally make the engine bay warmer then stock.

It's the ricer one at many autoparts stores.
It's called the Power Adder by Spectre. Comes in various colors, blue, silver, and suck. Cost is $39.99 and it can fit 3",3.5", or 4" applications intake tubes. That is is the 9" long.

I like it with your set-up and colors, but are you also getting the very tiny perf. upgrade and better gas milage.

Well I can't say, since I have DigitallyPhoenix tuning my car quite often, so extra flow means I have to give more of something else (fuel) therefore all my mods have to be tuned. I get more performance and better gas mileage with tuning!!
