there is an option on zzp when buying pacesetters to get a catt'd dp with corrected bung, but it doesn't say in the desc. what cat it is. anyone know? They have the magnaflow hi-flow cat for sale seperate but is that the one they use?
alright, thanks Rook. im still not decided on wether its cheaper or not to get the magnaflow and have someone weld it in when they do my muffs and tips or just to get the whole thing in one shot and bolt it in.
illegal over here to not have a cat and we have emission tests every other year so i'd have to put one in anyway eventually. i'll just get the whole thing done, no messing around with it.
someone asked ZZP what cat they ran on their catted stuff on clubgp once. Ended up being a flame war because people thought it was rude to ask.
Hopefully someone will chime in with an answer. But its an extra $110 bucks to get a cat with the pacesetters, so if you can find one for cheaper than that, go for it
i can get it for 70 from zzp but then I have to find someone to cut the pipe and fit the cat and weld it. well the pacesetters come with the 3" dp so I would need the 3" cat. so far my exhaust is stock so it should just bolt in. i'd feel like an idiot taking it to a exhaust shop asking for them to cut the pipe and then fit in a cat. that'd be about 15 bucks, plus I'd have pay the extra shipping to get the cat sent. hmm..
