I'm thinking about getting a downpipe from zzp, 2.5 inch bolt on cat. my question is how long will this last before you max it out? is it really worth the extra money for the 304? i know i live in the salt belt but its getting to be spring right now and I'm hoping soon ill have my other motor rebuilt and ready to go.

Something to think about..ZZP has a used 3" bolt-in downpipe w/cat in stainless steel, so you can save a few bucks, and feed the mod bug... hammer

Well, you can always get a Magnaflow downpipe from Performance Peddler ; it's all stainless, and you won't hurt your low end torque.

i would just go 2.5. you'll lose backpressure with the 3 inch.

If your gonna spend alot of time at the track go 3" if staying on the street then 2.5. And since you do live in the rust belt go with the 304. Otherwise you'll just be buying another one in a short time.

I would suggest the stainless 3" dp the bottom end torque loss will be hardly noticable and you will gain some top end performance ,the point is you will probably continue to mod and the 2 1/2" at some point will be a slight hinderance ,as far as going stainless thats just plain smart in the snow belt the stainless DP will probably outlast the car.Chico(pops)
