Well today was yet another productive day at school! I drove the car over to auto tech today. The teacher was gonna have me put it in a bay so it didn't have to sit outside all weekend. I was over there to quickly pull my PCM to send back. Anyways me and a couple guys were talking and we decided to pull the supercharger lol.. I disassembled it, did a bit of porting/clean up on it.. Then took it over to welding shop to have the silencer holes welded up lol..They are going to get it done monday.. From there i'm going to take it home and put a couple coats of paint on it.

So after lunch i'm standing there and thought "The car has 140K miles on it, we are this close we might as well change the LIM gasket" lol.. luckily there was no failure points on the old one but it is a good piece of mind to know it will have a new one in it.. I really wish i had a set of 1.9 rockers to put in this thing right now, i just can't swing it for a bit..

Anyways, It's going to be in the shop about a week and a half. It's really worth it though in the long run. They are rebuilding the transmission with a trannyman kit. Also got a shift kit, couple solenoids, hardened 4th shaft and a torque converter from a guy at club GP with 3500 miles on it. They are also putting on my power log, wrapping my crossover pipe and we are putting in a 3 gauge pod with boost, voltage and oil pressure.. Should be pretty nice when she's all done..

I snapped a couple quick pic's because i'm a pic whore lol. They are just from the cell phone but ohh well..

And my trunk load of goodies i have to hide from my old lady lol..

dude, if your having your tranny taken apart, NOW is the time to build it. Take a loan, beg your grandma, hold a sign saying you 'have 3 kids to feed and no job' for change, do whatever I don't care. While they are doing that you should really get a strengthened input shaft (this is what breaks on these trannies 95% of the time) and throw in some 3.29's to wake it up around town.

Also, make sure you clean out the bearings in the case after porting/welding/grinding because those are spinning at 10K+ RPM's. Also, make sure you grind the inside of the case where they weld it so it is smooth.

Get a new coupler and supercharger oil while you have the s/c apart.

Might as well port the LIM as well while you have it off.

I almost went straight black, but I had a flaming idea!
If go black, I would have some accent on it of some sort.

install the plog your self. and boost gauge,

good thing you got the LIM done now rather then when it fails.

Hutch, I would love to man i just can't do it right now.. If anything maybe in a couple months i just don't want to spend anymore on it.. I posted a thing up about a month ago about wanting to spend $3-400 and i have busted the shit out of that lol. I graduate this month so when i start a full time job i will really start fixing it up wink

20gtp, I wish i had the skills to do something along those lines.. Yours is very nice!
