Well I have been looking at downpipes and need opinions on what to get. I want it to have a cat and I hear the flex pipe is beneficial, what do you all suggest? One guy has a r/t dp but it doesnt have the flex in it.. thanks!

well since you have the gtp i sugest going with a 3" but it also depends on the mods you are lookking to go with in the future, if your staying mostly stock a 2.5 should be ok but if you plan on doing some upgrades even in the future go with a 3"

I wish i go headers too, a DP and a PLOG are just as much as decent headers. but welding blows.

Do *not* get a pipe without a cat.

Whether your state does emissions testing or not, any motor vehicle (post '72 iirc) is require by *federal law* to have a catalytic converter.

You know what happens if you get caught without one? $1000 federal fine.

And that fine may very well have gone up since the last time I checked.
