Well I have an issue at hand. This summer I will at least make enough for an HV3 insert, but may just may be able to save for an SSM90. So here is where it gets fun, I have terrible saving habbits and have a hard time saving my money. Saving 1k-2k for me would be very difficult and a challenge. If I were to buy the downpipe from Jorgs and install the HV3 insert and possibly get a PCM do you think I would have quite the fast GT? Regardless I just thought I would post this and get weather you guys think I should go with HV3 or SSM90. Boosten told me that he has a friend with mods similar to mine with a downpipe, and pcm and HV3 and runs 14.8's. To me this would be amazing and would satisfy me but is this a reasonable time I could run with those mods?
I do realize im at a Fork in the road...The road to the SSM90 offers much more modding potential in future but with modding comes issues and more money. (something i do not have most of the time). Getting the HV3 I realize will restrict me to modding in future but will offer me some ponies that i would be happy with.

who doesnt have saving issues when the mod bug hit you ?
Sounds like you dont really want to mod extensively, so i voted HV3, PCM, DP, call it a day.

My car is a daily driver, a must for me to have daily. You are somewhat right that I do not want to mod extensively and would really like to save the 100,000 mile warranty on my car, which I think would be voided by adding a blower on top of it. Something in me though really wants a supercharger because it would open many doors, but then I realize my finacial situation and it's kind of a huge let down but feel that maybe this would be a great point to start learning to save...

just some food for thought, knowing my driving habits and if I were to have an SSM90 I would have some issues with tranny down the road, I can sense it. Maybe not following the band wagon is a better choice?

Get neither because I don't see you following through with the SSM90 and once you spend the money on the HV3 you'll be disappointed and want more.

14.8 is slow fun acceleration here and there like a 60 pull could be fun (you can feel the HV3) but im cammed and still only run 14.7.....save your money

If you want performance go with the SS-M-90 you will gain a good 85ft.lbs of trq. all across the rpm range ,as far as the hv3 yes it does give some net gains but only on top end,Chico(pops)

You make a good point here. I think that a little more power to my car would be fun its just I do not want to spend in the thousands on performance, it just seems a little much in these economic times.
