I'm getting ready to take my door panel off. The last time I had it off 2 years ago I broke the clip on the back of the bezel. Now I can't remember which side the clip is on, top or bottom. Please refresh my memory so I don't waste another $10. No I don't have a regulator out, I'm putting foam baffles behind my speakers for a little better sound.

Iirc the plastic tab is on the aft end of the switch plate. The foreward end has the metal spring.

our bezel was broke i think when we got the car and later we bought another one to replace it, but probably a month later it had broke too! not sure why the newer one broke but we have just left it the way it is because it stays in place pretty good.

those baffles wont improve sounds at all unless you totally seal the front cone to the door panel.
