Well Palsut was nice enough to ship me a pair of roof rails so I could have them for my gp. They are currently the purple (40th aniv) rails and am wondering what color you think I should paint the rails.

Should I match the rails with the body color by having them painted galaxy silver or should I have them painted black to stand out a bit and to go with my dark tint?
What color for roof rail?

Ace do you think its worth having a body shop paint them over me just sanding them/ primer and painting and clear coat?

Picture might help.

This guy from clubgp paint color to match his car color. It is silvermist but that's close enough for galaxy silver.

I went to autozone today and got some 3M double sided tape, sand paper, and glossy black rust-free paint w/ clear. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow so I can begin sanding.

Yup, i got the cleaning compound, double sided tape that fits (made sure) and got sand paper and paint so I'm ready to get them on:D Now just to wait for that big brown truck.
