M90 Silencer Ports ?

Searched this forum and didn't find and concrete answers. I've come across people talking about blocking 2 silencer ports on their m90 to make it louder. Now i know with an open cone (which i have) cold plugs (same thing) and some form of exhaust (which i do) can and will help the s/c be loud. Other than WELDING them shut, what is an alternative thats safe and reliable, and has anyone on here done it and noticed a noise increase? Wouldn't mind stomping it and having it downshift to yell at people. Haha

To be honest I have closed up a few with quickset aluminum and did'nt reall- notice much of a difference ma-be a little louder but not much,not worth the effort IMHO.Chico(pops)
