I just received my new laptop battery. Of course it comes while Im feeling like garbage. IF I feel up to it, is anyone willing to be available to help me analyze and interpret the scan? The tutorials that are out there are nearly impossible for me to understand. I am also looking for those willing to teach me what and how to tune, in simple language. No, Im not looking for someone to just do the work for me and tell me it's good. I wanna be walked through everything.

Like I said, I am feeling pretty horrible right now and for the last couple days, so there is no guarantee that Im gonna get to it tomorrow or even Sunday.

We can do that.
Once you understand few things, all you really have to do is input two things into that spread sheet Eddie made and it spits out the file for you.
a few tweaks here and there, and practice, and you can start making your own changes beyond what it spits out.

What kind of USB to serial adapter do you have? Have you ever scanned the car or anything before?

yeah, I scanned the car at idle, because of the bad battery. I already got the scan. It's an hour's worth of data points (45 city, 15 highway) with a few WOTs to 80-90 from a roll and 2 WOTs from a dig to 90. The interface is a serial-serial from tuner to laptop. it's the same set up that Slick had, because he's the one I bought this from. He has quite a bit of tuning experience, but Im not sure his availablity, that and Im sure he's tired of tryin to teach me all this stuff I thought I knew.

Put the scans up at www.scandepot.net so we can look at them.

You can some how import into excel and delete those two lines of data Richard.
Do you have the file for Eddie's Modify Table?
Believe you can delete row data in that table too.
Sorry, I've been busy. Just started working the 1:00a.m to 11:00a.m shift. Things been crazy.

See if you can't track down a nice base file to upload to the GP, make sure it's GT friendly.

already on my laptop? Hard to tell. I know Slick uploaded a GT .bin before, while I was still in TX (and this was still his laptop), but it was way too aggressive for what I wanted. Lemme see if I can find it. Stuff wasnt labeled too friendly for those coming after him. No beef, this was his computer, and I asked for all car files, regardless of use and application.

One small issue, there aren't parameters listed in your scan. I can kinda make out most columns, but its a little challenging.
