As stated above... just wanted to know if you can leave the sensor out? the rad has a plug on it, the sensor was hardened and broke like coolant elbows do

You can't take it out w/o having a leak. You can just unplug it & go on about your business, but it'd be best to find one new & pop it in at some point. They're about $70-100, depending on where you look. I check all my fluids, hoses, etc routinely anyway, so I can live without it being hooked up.

Ahh thanks, yeah I do too, I guess if you split a hose and dumped all your coolant out on the highway the level sensor would come in handy, my rad was leaking, so I installed a new one..completely forgot about the sensor...wasn't working properly anyways, just gonna leave the plug in, until i come across a sensor
