I've been searching around here and a few people have said that the 2004 Grand Prixs have some strange electrical issues. I happen to own one of these and I've had some wierd problems in the past (like stalling just after it starts once in a while among other things). Right now I'm having trouble with the battery/alternator/starter or something in one of the associated circuits - battery acts dead but the car will start and run fine after 5 min with the booster cables and the starter takes a sec longer to kick out than it should after I let go of the key. It also won't restart after it runs for a while. I'm going to pull the alternator and battery and have both tested on my next day off. I'm sure I'll get that sorted out but I'm wondering now what other issues I'm in for with this car. How bad are the '04's? Should I be looking at trading this thing while it's still mostly working good?
