From looking at pictures of the GTO I can't see the seam for the front bumper/front quarter panels. Check out this photo. http://199.239.248.45//images/full/2003/s2003010901/pn2004gto6001.jpg

Does that mean the front bumper cover is steel or that the quarter panels are plastic?

I agree. Maybe it's all one piece? Bet that'd be expensive to replace after a minor fender bender.

If you look at this picture:
http://www.fast-autos.net/pontiac/04gto2.html
you will notice there actually is a seam. If you look at the wheel-well, you can actually see where the bumperskin meets the fender.

Well... that may be a seam, but even if it is, that's still one hell of a big bumper cover.

on both pics.. jsut look from the bottom right side of the headlight.. theres a diagonal seam looking thing that goes down into the crease that runs along both sides of the tirewell. prolly where the bumper separates

Ok... I see what you're talking about now. You'll have to excuse us old and blind guys.

Keep in mind the yellow car is a show car and probably has no seam and the red one is an artist rendering. But looking at Pontiac's site for the GTO you do see a diagonal line coming down from the lights to a crease in the bumper cover Probably the seam very well hidden (nice design).

Yellow one does have a seam. Just stare at it real close for a few seconds and you will see it.

If you just glance at the picture its not noticeable but its still there.
