I just saw spider man and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised.

I was expecting the absolute worst ... and it didn't turn out that bad. Although they never explained the whole web shooting thing. I could have swore that in the cartoon and comics, the web was some kinda gadget and not a super power of his directly.

Beyond that I liked it - Kirsten Dunst is damn hot (the rain scene especially, if you know what I mean!) and Tobey McGuire did a good job getting beefed up for the role.

LOL this was wildly debated on the SLP board. The original spiderman had a gadget that was man made. In the movie its part of his mutation.
