well maybe not so bad this time...I was up in Richmond a day ago and rode by this car dealer...and there sat this Trans Am WS6 in that Sunset metallic orange color...I had to swing a uey and get a closer look at this ride...I had heard of this color and have seen it in books, but I gotta say the pictures do it no justice. Sitting there in the bright sunlight, metallic sparkling away, this already boss lookin Bird was drop dead gorgeous. I suppose partly because my old 76 Roadrunner was hemi metallic orange...but it never looked this good...this might not have been a convertible (it did have T-tops)but I believe I'd have to break out the tools and engineer a way to get that driver seat farther back, cuz this bad bird would look even better parked in the driveway right next to the T-Bat...hmmm, ThunderBat and FireBat...that sounds like a winning combo to me...now if I can just find a spare $20k I'll be in business! lol

I've been obsessed with WS6's for many years. I don't think there is a better looking car. When you stand next to one, you just feel like those intakes on the front are going to suck you in.

I pass an orange WS6 every day on the way home from work. Beautiful car indeed.

dont tease me framos lol thats rather cruel in my weakened state of mind...and I'm with ya Bryant...I cant think of another car that is so spilling over with bravado like the WS6...and when its got a set of Flowmasters on it, just starting it up is enough to turn me into jelly.

My problem is that I can't justify getting a sports car. Ever since I got into bikes and I feel the performance for the price, there's no way I would spend that kind of money on a bike. It drive my brother's Bullitt and don't get any kick out of it. I spent $8k on my bike and it does a 9.4sec 1/4 mile STOCK. There is something beautiful about that. Having a car that I would have to sink twice the amount of money into to go slower kills the dream for me.

Moral: 1) Don't ever buy a bike. OR 2) Buy a bike.

*T-Bat is still reeling from Herc's wake up slap upside his head* crazy (get a grip man!)...but I understand where you're coming from Bryant, cuz the performance of many of the new sportbikes is truly startling to me...to the point of being scary actually...but my weakness for a car like this isnt just the performance (although thats fun) I gthink I dig the cruising (or profiling you might call it) the sounds and feelings and looks you get just riding around in a car like that is a blast for me, especially with a manual tranny...you can really make it talk with one of those and a good exhaust. I just seem to keep coming back to this car over and over. I guess I'm gonna have to get a stablemate one of these days, cuz the Bird just isnt practical enough as the only car.

I'd get the T/A verses the bike. I just imagine how I would feel if I got into a 5 MPH accident w/ a car.

I am trying to talk the wife into getting one, there is red WS6 for sale in the town she grew up in, she knows the guy who is selling it and he only wants 14000 for it. He just opened a restaurant and needs some extra cash. I think he said it was an 02 with 25000 miles on it. I don't think he knows what the cars are really worth. Not sure how it is going with the wife, we will see
