12.1 @ 112 was not enough - I was at a stand still in my mods.

Do not want to do N20 (yet)
Cannot afford a Supercharger right now.

SO I dove in headfirst!

I just bought a set of 3.91 gears! With good traction it should easily shave .5 off my time, more than likely more though.

I expect to be running low 11s next spring with the gears. But I do not want to speculate, we will see.

The gears should be here in a few days and the install not far behind.

12.1 for a street machine is haulin butt in anyone's category...too much has never been enough...by the time you get it going really fast, it wont resemble the car you bought at all...one always has to ask oneself; at what point do I keep my nice car, and what point does it become a pure racer, because once that point is reached, the value of the car will plummet wildly...your car, your choice.
I have a friend that has a 73 340 'Cuda, and it is one badazz machine...built-to-the-hilt "A" motor, bulletproof trans and steep gears...barely street driveable really(idles really rough) but nothing done to it that couldnt easily be returned to stock. I know these arent issues with your car now...but it could be someday, depending on how long you keep it...just my take on things laugh have fun with your Goat, and remember, spring is close so hammer hammer hammer

3.91? What made you stop there instead of going all out for the 4.10's??

Your 60' is great and those new gears should break into the 11's,if you want low 11's go for the nitrous and you'll see a good top end ,I know it's never enough.Chico.
