Washington DC is one of my favorite vacations from when I was younger. It was really interesting to see all the huge buildings and important memorials, even though I wasn't old enough to appreciate them.

I have to get back there.

I've been to DC a dozen times or more and love it every single time I go...there is so much to see there and it is constantly changing. Herc, did you make it over to the Korean War Veterans Memorial? Those statues of the infantry squad walking thru the rice paddies reflecting into the polished granite wall is breathtaking and haunting all at once. I also think there is a shuttle bus from downtown out to Dulles to the Udvar Hazy Center, and the aircraft out there will blow you away! cuz that place is huge!
I guess I'll have to post up some pics after I get back from Chicago and the AirForce Museum in Dayton.

I've been to the Korean memorial before but for some reason never made it over there on this trip. I had the time to go out to Dulles but didn't really feel like travelling that far by myself. My Crew abandoned me on that friday and my new crew didn't get in till sunday night.
