I just got done watching this amazing film. I suggest that everyone go and see it at least once. It depicts almost every aspect of September 11, 2001 including the air traffic controllers, NORAD, and the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC). I touched me in a very personal way since my dad is an Air Traffic Controller (ATC) and was at home when the attacks took place. Since he was the senior official working at the tower at the time he was called in from his day off to work. He then spent the next 36 hours on position leaving only long enough to go to the bathroom. And at the end of the movie a guy sitting behind me said and I quote “it was the ATC fault for losing the planes”. There were 4,200 planes in the air over the U.S. at the time of the highjacking. But other then that it was a wonderful movie and it was a very moving film.

Flight 93, they're my hero's.

The ATC's did an amazing job on 9/11.

There's another movie called "The Flight that Fought Back" that is also great. It's more of a documentary format with interviews with the characters families.

ATC work is tuff.

Check out this site. The page I have linked has a time lapsed deal. Each red dot is one airplane. Look how many planes are in the air at one time. flight aware

Yeah I watched this when it was on tv and it was pretty emotional. When I saw it was on again, I taped it.

The people on that Flight really are heros and their actions should be celebrated and remembered.

saw it for the first time a few weeks ago also and agree it was a very emotional movie. I salute everyone involved that day, from those on the plane, to those watching the plane and all the ones on the ground with loved oned in the air.

heres another neat thing when you are on the flight aware website go to the live tracking and and on the left side go to airport code and underneath it it has a button that says "Dont know the airport code?" you click on it and enter in the city you live in and it will give you a list of possible matches and you pick the one that you want to see.
