Yes, some people have them, 2fast just bought one. They're worth every penny.

Only worth it if you are extensively modded. 2fast is running a 2.8" pulley and before his most recent mods had a PB of 12.99. You'll be fine without one down to at least a 3.2" pulley and other supporting mods. Only get one if you're really serious about modding.

I know some folks feel our cars should have been IC'd from the factory. You can bolt up an IC at any time and drop pulley sizes. It's worth it.

True. I've heard that with no other mods except an intercooler, you can run a 3.2" pulley, it's not the recommended way of going about things but it is doable.
Its pretty big bucks though and from what I've heard, it's a weekend to install. I'm wanting to do one on my top-swapped GT someday... probably not for awhile though. It's pretty far down on the to-do list.

Everybody wishes they had one.
I think GM didn't intercool it from the factory because it would've raised the price and lowered reliability. Gotta cap the power somewhere.

Yeah! IC that bad boy and slap a 3.0" on. You should also think about an XP cam.

It's pretty far down on the to-do list. it depends on how many guys you have working and their knowledge. the most time consuming part is the front bumper and mounting the front radiator. a few local guys did one in like 12 hours or something like that

Thanks for the info! I think it will be a must have down the road. It is expensive but of I want to reach my goal I think I am going to have to do it.

Yes to hit 400 whp you will definitely need one to run a small enough pulley.
