So all week I've been watching the weather because I've been wanting to really clean up my car. It was supposed to be 70* today, partly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain. I figured it would be a great day to wash, clay, and wax the GP.

I started off with a really good wash job. The car looked awesome sitting there all sqeeky clean. I get out the Mothers clay bar kit. I clayed the hood. When I was finished it was like a blue piece of glass. I start on the front bumber and I droped the clay on the ground. So I had to throw the clay out and ditch the plan to clay the GP today. I then start waxing. Did one coat car looked really good. I started the second coat and I saw that some big clouds were coming in. Just as I finish waxing the rain starts.

I spent about 2 hours cleaning up the GP only for it to rain. I should have known something bad would happen after I dropped the clay.

Yeha I hate rain and salt too, someday dont know when im going to have my rear strut towers either glazed over in tar and metal welded in or just have the complete things redone. ANyone got a price of what havin new rear strut towers might cost to put in?

Sounds like you need a garage.

I got on the bike yesterday and went riding down to Rhode Island with some buddies from work. By the time I got home, the roads were wet, but done raining.

I still live with my parents cuz I commute to school, so the garage is for their cars.

Yah, just bargain for some space for a few hours. The meguiars kit I got came with two bars.

It sucks mostly cuz I live on a dirt road. So whenever it rains the roads are all muddy and no matter how slowly I drive the car gets dirty.
