I didnt hear locusts were supposed to be bad this year maybe im wrong.....but as for horticulture haha....

I think their life span is like 1 to 2 weeks, and all you see them doing is humping!

And here is my ride covered in them from a trip from Tampa to Daytona beach, and they are usually covering your windshield and mirrors. If you leave them on longer than a day, you will be scubbing like crazy. I have begun to use a magic eraser. Then use a coat of wax and the next time you hit them, they come off easier. But they still leave behind something after yuo scrubbed them all off.
