ok well i found a cheep speedo cluster on ebay for my 04 so i thought i would pick it up, in hopes of doing the stainless overlays but then after i won the product i looked at PFYC and saw the price on the stainless overlays and about poo'd myself at the price, so i thought i would do something else

The silver trim ring i would take that and paint it a gloss black, because on this gp i am going with a black/white color theme so i think the gauge trim would look good with a gloss black what do any others think of this idea or what should i do??

I love the guage cluster in the GXP...but back to topic...it would be a huge PITA to do but how about a checkered flag background behind the black guage rings?...that keeps the color theme and adds a racy feel.

Look at the price of everything over there. It's crazy.

Well it's alittle off subject but I was down in Beeville TX today and saw an 04 GP with what looked to be a ZZP side stripes and it looked really good added alot to the car .Chico(pops)

from front fender to rear quarter? or over top of the fender? i think for now im just going to spray these black i thought about mixing up some tinted clear for the needles also

I didnt mean covering the cluster with flags...I meant the bezel behind the guages...if the guages are removeable, then do the inside of the housing in the checker pattern and reinstall the guages with the black painted rings.
Like I said, prolly a real pain to do but I think the end result would be cool.
