You guys listening to any new music? I've pretty well moved on from harder rock as I have grown up. Now I listen mostly to forms of reggae rock. Most say the genre is dead, but I've been to LA and heard some great bands still making good music. I think it's going to make a comeback soon, especially with Sublime reunited this summer. I like songs where the bass thumps, and I get tired of all the songs about hoes and gangstas in rap. Reggae seems to be a better alternative right now.
Anyway, here are some good reggae rock songs that have come out recently. Good summer stuff. What are you listening too?
Iration "Turn Around". This is from their album "Time Bomb" which just came out a few days ago. These guys are from Hawaii and I love them. Reminds me of old UB40 a bit...very chill songs. simply guitars but good melodies.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyIHKn6PHSk Dirty Heads "Stand Tall" These guys are pretty good and they'll be touring with Sublime next month. Their song "Lay Me Down" (

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6G4aGizgqs Dirty heads mixes reggae with rap. Some of their tracks are more hip hop and remind me of Eminem or Beastie Boys.
More Dirty Heads featuring Rome "No Time for Y'all" (explicit lyrics):
