It's probably what the automotive industry needs at this point, but it'll likely end up just hurting the consumer in the future. I'm getting sick of mergers...

I can't really see a domestic company like GM form with a foreign compant like Nissan. I don't want to see it at all, help GM or not.

I currently work for Nissan, and have worked for GM. A merger is a bad idea, both companies could loose money selling weed, or prostitutes

I dont like it as well, foreign and domestic together...........

considering i make the frames for nissan here in smyrna for the pathfinder xterra and frontier...i would love to see this happen...job security...

I don't want to see it at all, help GM or not. just remember that GM bought Isuzu a number of years ago for a few different reasons, and are now using Isuzu engines in their trucks (Duramax). IMO, good move on Gm's part for that one.
