It's been confirmed that Pontiac will be introducing the G8. http://www.leftlanenews.com/2007/01/08/gm-confirms-rwd-pontiac-g8/ Say goodbye to the Grand Prix. I've seen the cover of MT, and they have a write up on it, but I think it was before the confirmation.

That G8 is sweet though! And I love the fact that it will be RWD, wonder what kind of powerplant it will have?

The G8 does look promising. I've been a fan of Hoden autos for a while.... Its a shame the grand prix name will be gone though. Its been around a long time.

maybe they'll make a coupe. I'm not a fan of 4 door cars. Coupes have much more leg room for me and a lot more room for the driver/passenger in general.

Not a bid fan of the G8 design. Somehow, our GP design is just soon damn sexy.

i honestly think if they brought back a similar design they would sell a ton more.
When my mom first drove my car, she said that she wanted a new one. But they dont look the same and they dont make 2 doors anymore

Too bad...I really wish some style from the older GPs, came through. I want to see a new car with quad headlights put back an couple inches into the body...a little more box in style. That'd be great...although I keep hearing that'd be too 80s-ish .

is pontiac going to become the rebranded austrailian branch of GM? The GTO is a rebranded manaro and now we're getting a rebranded commodore. Any other cars that could be a possible import?
