who the devil is Clark Howard and why should I care what he uses?

He's a financial guru with a radio show and is pretty respected in the Metro Atlanta area. He doesn't steer people wrong with their money and isn't afraid to call a spade a spade.

If you knew how much the mark up on eye glasses were, you'd probably drop your jaw and faint. It truly is ridiculously high.

But I did post a think on glasses many months ago. You have to becareful.
Here is my link, to which no one responded. However the video clip isn't attached as the right one anymore. It was a study done by NBC about a few retail chains offering glasses.
LensCrafters, Target, Walmart, and Costco. Costco was the only one that didn't fail tests.
Tests were failed by wrong prescription put in glasses to wrong material used for the lens.

Update:

I placed an order for two pairs the last week of Feb. Recieved them a week and a half later.

I'm very satisfied with the quality of my glasses. The script is dead on. They came with hard cases and cleaning cloths.

I will definately be using this company in the future.

Haven't listened to Clark for some time. He simulcasts to Portland Oregon where I'm at. A real straight forward guy..... Wrote some books and is not afraid to tell his listeners to check them out at the library to save money.....

well....feb 22 we placed an order for 1 (one) pair and have yet to receive them call the place monday and.......they couldnt find the order after about 45 min on hold he finally found it and said they were shipped the day before.... still no glasses :-( sooo not all that satisfied i only hope they DID get his perscription right at the LEAST lol but hey cheap prices we got an eight dollar pair but after we put in script it was 40 bux

got the glasses today very impressed he said the prescription is right on

extra strength prescription raises the cost and the time needed to make em.

yeah and still a good deal just impatient
