This is already been somewhat done with the Nintendo Wii's, only this time you dont have a remote. It may not be a fail but I know I probably will not prefer it, considering playing a game like that would be very strange.

360 just one up'd the wii....

Yeah, I remember when the PS2 had a camera that did face recognition and stuff. It sounded cool but was lame in reality.

The reviews on this are much better though. Maybe they finally knocked one out of the park. Like they say though, it won't be useful until someone codes games for it.

I thought this was a great idea. Xbox 360 and Wii are head to head right now and pretty much running PS3 to the ground. Especially since Metal Gear Solid will be coming to the 360 and I believe the wii as well not entirely sure about that though. Even though they keep making crappy consoles xbox live is still the best online gaming I've experienced. I predict Project Natal to be a big hit. It is the best way to compete with the Wii.

Also has anyone seen that they're bringing facebook and twitter to xbox live? They're really pushing into the social networks now.

im sorry but the games that they showed being played in the project Natal video look like they came straight from the wii crappy graphics and low frame rates. if they can some how make real game support such as fight night round 4 working with the camera or forza 3 then it will be worth it for games but until then its $100 remote-less remote used only for shuffling through net-flix and telling your 360 to go to sleep.
