Well my nephew 02 explorer engine went out and he is going to replace it with a another used engine. He has 133,000 miles on the original tranny, will the new used engine make the tranny go out quicker of it should not have any problems.

No the tranny will go when it's time is up. A new motor won't speed up the process.

I thought so but i wanted to be sure because my nephew said he heard it does but I told him it shouldn't because unless the tranny has a problem before this new engine goes in, and he has had 0 problems with the tranny.

Yep. Fresher engine will probably make A LITTLE more power but not enough to cause any issues.

The way he drives it and maintains translates into longevity.
