Holy crap, a Waco person.

Pretty much the only 'standard' things you'll find with a GT are the usual power everything, 3.8L 200HP V6, auto tranny. I don't know if or when the CD player became officially standard.

Options are the Bose sound system (98+?), sunroof, leather, digital driver info center, headsup display .. and that's all I can think of off the top of my head right now.

Good thing you don't want a GTP, I couldn't find one in or around Waco for weeks. Even GTs are somewhat irritating to find here, all the Grand Prixs I see for sale are SEs.

WATCH OUT!!! the kitty cat is hissin again...

Hey, Rook. Hows it goin? lol. just messin with ya.

Are you talkin the catfish SEs or the later-body SE? After a while (I think it was 2001), the SE came with the same front fascia as the GT and GTP. The only outward difference was the types of badges they used and the rear fascia. GT and GTP have the grey thing at the bottom of the rear bumper, the SE doesnt. The SE badges were all silver reflective, the GT were the same type of letters but body color, and GTP flaunted their s/c.

yep, same here. got a 3rd gen with the (dont laugh) 2.8L/4L60E-700R4. Search around Everything Else for pics of Belen and an almost current situation on the darn thing.

Guys, what year was it that the SEs came with the GT/GTP fronts?

There are a couple in a junkyard pretty far from here, but they both had engine fires. Don't think you want to get that committed to it. lol

I'll let you know if I see anything. Good luck!

I'm in Hewitt now too, off of Spring Valley. Used to live in Lorena, and Robinson before that.

One of the cars looks engine contained, the other looks like it made it into the cabin. Dash is all smoke-stained and crispy and the glass is busted out. They have a white SE too .. but it looks like someone threw it in a blender. lol

You gonna put the original engine/trans in the car? There's a guy in the GP community that has a salvage yard that you can get good things from on the cheap.
