GTX Hood

ok so im thinking about buying the GTX hood sometime before fall and im trying to find a place that actually sells them...some ppl have told me to contact Ed about seeing if he has one...is there ne where else that might carry them?

Since ASCD isn't doing anything at the moment and SLP discontinued them, you're looking at used or custom.

Don't even bother with Ed. The chances of him having one are slim, if he does it's probably already been claimed.

I found one on OQCGP. wanted 600, was silver, needed a little repair.

People with used hoods are so full of themselves. I understand they paid for prep and paint, but charging almost full price for a hood with paint chips (you know it'll have some) and needs to be color matched to your vehicle is just nuts.

well it makes it hard to find one for a decent price because someone with crazy money is willing to pay it..

Supply and demand guys. If they dont exist, and someone wants it bad enough, they will get 600 bucks

I don't care for that hood. If you get a hood might as well get one that has balls. This one seems like a waste, not much over stock, just some indentions.

ya the auction has ended already....idk....cuz i found a pic on clubgp with the exact same mods that i wanna do to my car and it had the gtx hood and it looks sick as hell...so thats why i wanted to see if i could find one....but ill prolly just go with the sd hood, sd wing, saleen rims, and exhaust tips(dont wanna do a full exhaust)....

forget that, buy a f1 hood!!!
