will these cherry bomb mufflers fit

ok i have a stock exhaust ATM and am looking at possibly picking up some cherry bomb mufflers to go along with the new tips i got. The tips i got have an inlet diameter of 2.5" these mufflers have an outlet diameter of 2.25" with an inlet diameter of 2.25". I have cheery bomb vortex on and they are sweet.
I just put oon my headers and am very impressed with the sound now... 5 times deeper then with manifolds

gosh i love the way that sounds very very mean ... i wonder if i should get the vortex or the turbo muffs ... anyones take on this ... and whats the size we need lol

Who ever installs these will need to make reducers for your pipes into the mufflers since stock pipes are 2.25", but they should work. I don't think you can expect much increase in sound with these with all else stock. I could be wrong. It could be what you are looking for. I know I first did dynomax super turbos on my wife's Monte Carlo and it was a waste of $$ until I had the resonator removed, but the Monte resonators are much bigger and quieter than the GP. Keep us posted.

forget it...im just gonna keep my stock system and save up for awhile then get mufflers...lol

Yep when money's tight kinda hard to sell that you need new muffs cause stocks aren't loud enough.

Now if you needed to replace the muffs cause they "rusted" out and have holes is another story. Cause you don't want to be pulled over for excessive noise

should i get the turbo or the vortex muffs

turbo will be quieter, but guaranteed to have no interior resonance. Vortex may have some resonance, especially if you get rid of your U-bend or resonator. They will also have some crackle where the turbos will not.

i got a 3"dp and i still have the stock res, i can tell now that it is so much louder than with my cat and ubend i also have stock tips
